{manila newborn photographer} Viel

Viel was only 6 days old during our session.  One would probably think that this shoot would be a breeze given her age.  It took me 6 hours to make her settle down.  She would feed, poop, pee, fuss & cry.  She was always hungry.  It was a test of my patience as a newborn photographer.  Her mom almost gave up. But I don’t want to go home without good shots of her.  Her mom is also a very good friend of mine. But once she settled down and got into deep sleep. Everything went smoothly.  It only took me an hour to shoot & change set ups. It was exhausting yet fulfilling to see those pretty tiny hands and feet.  That smirk, the eyelashes, those tiny hairs on her arms.  Patience, indeed, is a virtue.

I also got to use the props I brought from my  vacation.  The baby bonnets, the pompom blanket and purply knitted wrap were hand knitted by me.   🙂
