{kids portrait} Earl at the pumpkin patch

This was my second trip to the US.  The first time was 16 years ago and it was spring/summer in Illinois. I’ve wanted to experience (and photograph) the autumn season.  It would have been nice to see the leaves changing color, from green to red, yellow, orange.  But autumn in California is, as my brother calls it, “hilaw na autumn”.  They were no blazing orange & fiery red colors.  Only yellows and a few oak trees changing colors.

But  autumn also means…Halloween & pumpkins!   I may not have my wish of photographing the colors of autumn, but I got the chance to shoot this perky little boy,  my sister-in-law’s 3 year old nephew, Earl on a trip to the pumpkin patch.
